Behavioural disorders, like autism or Aspergers or depression, affect a lot of people but we really don’t know how they work or why they happen. This is because the brain is a very difficult organ to study.

My works tries to understand how normal behaviour works. Once we learn that we should have a better idea of why this goes wrong to make abnormal behaviour. I very much hope that one day in the future my studies will help people with behavioural problems, but it is very early days.
