  There are rules about what we can and can’t do with animals and changing their genes to make them capable of awesome moves probably isn’t allowed at the moment. We don’t really understand how genes work well enough to build creatures from scratch. We know enough to be able to one day, then the question will be whether we should do or not. It’s a big ethics issue.
