• Question: how did the "Big Bang" create the world! To me it sounds IMPOSSIBLE!!!!!!

      I don’t how the Big Bang arose from a “singularity” (which is a fancy way of saying “the point when things stop making physical sense!”) either.

      However, I do know that after that happened, the Big Bang created the whole Universe by heating up, expanding and then cooling down. The cooling resulted in the formation of atoms, which came together to form gases and eventually soilds.

      Our world, earth, is only a tiny speck in the Universe and formed much later, from the bits of dust the was floating around after our sun formed. Over millions of years these specks of dust bumped into each other and grew into bigger and bigger clumps. Eventually they formed the planets and started to orbit the sun.
