• Question: Why are we alive?

      I’m not sure you need science to answer this question – it sounds more like philosophy. Each of us is alive because a sperm successfully fertilised an egg and they both had the genetic material that made us who we are once we were born. Scientists have many ways of defining what life is, and how to identify it but fewer ways to answer your question, definitely one for the philosophers 🙂

      Based on what Katherine mentioned, we are alive because of chance and coincidence!

      I also think it is important for you to decide why your alive – find a passion and pursue it!
