I like Science because I like to find out new knowledge about the world that we live in. And Science allows us to do that in a logical and systematic manner. Hopefully, that new knowledge will someday improve our lives by helping us to find solutions to problems that mankind faces. Also, it doesn’t hurt that some of the experiments that I do are fun too!

Great question! I like knowing how and why things work and science provides a pretty good set of answers for some of that, and a good set of tools to figure the rest out.

I like science because it encompasses everything that we do. Everything around us has something to do with science and when I understood that it made me want to discover more about it. I find it fascinating that when it comes down to it everything is made up of the same basic components so getting to develop new things with completely different properties is really exciting.

I really like to ask questions and to try experiments. I have always wanted to know why something reacts and in my line of work I am interested in detecting changes in a person’s heart beat when exposed to different types of stimuli.
